Plant Manager
Growing manufacturer is looking to add a plant manager to their team.
EDUCATION and
Experience:
BS or BSBA in related field.
15
years experience in Manufacturing Management or similar function.
A change agent with proven track record leading change and innovation within the manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership skills to address issues across functional areas and have good interpersonal skills for internal and external communications.
Must have a hands on approach in day to day manufacturing operations.
Must be a strong team player with the ability to resolve conflicts.
Must be assertive and responsive in addressing issues that affect the business
Must have experience in a vertical manufacturing environment.
Experience in manufacturing of professional tools desired.
Wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
This position has responsibility for the management and oversight of all plant operations which may include finance, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, materials management, quality and environmental/health/safety. Required to be familiar with a variety of state of the art manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This position must possess a strong ability to manage up and down the chain of command.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Lead the plant senior staff in developing strategic direction for the plant that is consistent with the overall business strategy.
Champion and lead all change management aspects within the facility.
Lead innovation in all departments to modernize the facility and advance overall plant performance with regards to efficiency, quality, productivity and cost.
Develop a senior team that will achieve identified goals and objectives.
Provide financial oversight in conjunction with the plant controller for all plant operations. Responsibilities include oversight of annual plant budget, product costs, monthly operating reviews and key performance indicators.
Ensure the alignment of site manufacturing, quality and customer service activities with the U.S. and International business units.
Create opportunities for the facility to develop future leaders.
Establish a program of continuous improvement and best manufacturing practices that is an essential part of the facility operation.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
